A day after the State of the Union Address

Last night President Barack Obama gave us perspective on what he had accomplished in his first year of presidency despite unforeseen circumstances. The truth is "Change" does not come over night and he made that very clear. Although many skeptics are not impressed with his tone or proposed plans, there is only so much that can be done in one year. He has three years ahead of him with grand promises to end the war, invest in energy efficiency, develop more nuclear power and create more jobs here in America. Let us be active citizens and do our part in the grander scheme of these efforts he has in store not only for individuals, but for our country.
